Maya Markovich

Maya Markovich is Vice President at the AAA-ICDR Institute, where she leads initiatives with technology, academia, and courts on the future of dispute resolution. She is also executive director at Justice Technology Association, a nonprofit supporting tech startups building access to justice solutions. In her prior role as Chief Growth Officer at Nextlaw Labs and Nextlaw Ventures, the first legal tech-focused innovation catalyst and first legal tech venture fund, she drove legal industry transformation for Dentons, the world’s largest firm, its clients, and portfolio companies.
Maya frequently speaks at conferences, broadcasts, and writes on legal tech and innovation. She is a 2025 Fellow at the College of Law Practice Management, a member of 2023’s FastCase 50, one of five “Influential Women of Legal Tech” by ILTA in 2020, a 2019 “Woman Leading Legal Tech” in the Technolawgist, and an ABA Legal Technology Resource Center “Woman of Legal Tech 2018” for her work in encouraging, designing, and implementing the future of the legal sector worldwide.
